ARTIGOS SOBRE GASTO PÚBLICO E EDUCAÇÃO PUBLICADOS EM PERIÓDICOS INTERNACIONAIS
Resumen
O estudo objetiva caracterizar artigos sobre gasto público e educação publicados em periódicos internacionais no período de 2007 a 2011. Pesquisa descritiva foi conduzida por meio de análise documental e abordagem quantitativa. Identificaram-se 65 artigos a partir da busca pelos termos public spending e education no título, resumo ou palavras-chave de artigos publicados em periódicos na base de dados Science Direct. Os resultados mostram que o tema com maior índice de publicações (46%) foi gasto público, seguido de educação (16%) e educação/gasto público (19%). O ano de 2011 se destacou pelo volume de publicações sobre as temáticas em foco. Estados Unidos é o país que ocupa a primeira posição, com 31% dos 124 autores da amostra. A análise da formação de redes relacionando os temas com os autores mostra que apenas Patrinos,H.A. e Sakellariou,C escreveram sobre os dois temas. O estudo das redes das instituições evidencia lacunas estruturais na rede social. Na rede de autores a centralidade foi ocupada pelo autor Bhatt,R. Parte dos autores produz em co-autoria com dois outros, mas a maioria produz com apenas um co-autor, seguido daqueles que produzem sozinhos. Conclui-se que ainda há lacunas que podem ser objeto de investigação sobre gasto público e educação.Citas
