Resumo

Um dos principais dilemas da contemporaneidade ainda é equacionar fenômenos históricos e socioculturais oriundos de um recorte temporal que se estende desde os primórdios do processo colonizatório até o momento (pós-/neo)colonial atual e que tiveram lugar em vastas e diversas espacialidades. O presente ensaio analisa alguns fatores que contribuem para a profusão de coletivos culturais híbridos e os principais conceitos que tentam explicar a (trans)formação de culturas e as relações de poder e sujeitos envolvidos. Estabelece-se um diálogo polifônico entre alguns dos principais teóricos (pós-/neo)coloniais que têm contribuído significativamente para resgatar, amplificar e propalar a voz de sujeitos (pós-/neo)coloniais. Verificar-se-á a importância de se reconhecer a singularidade de cada contato colonial e suas respectivas especificidades, de recuperar vozes e respectivas experiências que ainda urgem por ser escutadas após séculos de capitulação.
