ANÁLISE DA TEMPERATURA DO AR E DA SUPERFÍCIE NO SÍTIO BOA FELICIDADE EM SÃO JOSÉ DO SABUGI-PB NO SEMI-ÁRIDO DO BRASIL

Abstract

Este estudo objetivou analisar as variações da temperatura do ar e da superfície no Sítio Boa Felicidade, pertencente ao município de São José do Sabugi, no semi-árido do estado da Paraíba e Nordeste do Brasil. Propõe um estudo climatológico das anomalias diárias da temperatura mínima, média e máxima com uso de dados da estação meteorológica OREGON WMR-9X8 no Sítio Boa Felicidade. Os dados observados de temperatura do ar diários se referem ao período de outubro de 2008 a abril de 2009. A temperatura à superfície foi estimada usando imagens de satélites do Landsat 5 do dia 13/01/2009. O critério para a escolha da imagem foi a ausência de nuvens e a coincidência com o período observado de temperatura do ar na estação meteorológica. Comprovou-se que a variação de temperatura diária, mínimas e máximas, entre os meses estudados foi de 15,8 e 2°C, respectivamente. Essa variação é grande importância para o planejamento agrícola na região.
