A INFLUÊNCIA DA DENSIDADE DE DRENAGEM NA INTERPRETAÇÃO DA EVOLUÇÃO GEOMORFOLÓGICA DO COMPLEXO DE TANQUES DO MUNICÍPIO DE BREJO DA MADRE DE DEUS – PERNAMBUCO, NORDESTE DO BRASIL
Abstract
A análise de padrões morfométricos como a densidade de drenagem quando relacionados aos diversos processos superficiais, adquire grande importância como instrumento de análise da paisagem, sobretudo para a identificação de possíveis focos de susceptibilidade geomorfológica. Sendo assim, este trabalho consiste na análise dos padrões de drenagem e cálculo de índices morfométricos da rede hidrográfica do Município de Brejo da Madre de Deus e seu entorno. O município de Brejo da Madre de Deus está situado na porção centro-leste do estado de Pernambuco, distando cerca de 180 km da cidade do Recife. Os dados para a realização do trabalho foram obtidos das imagens Shuttle Radar Topography Mission (SRTM) disponível através do site da NASA, os quais provêm dados topográficos da superfície terrestre a cada 90x90m e com precisão altimétrica de 1m. O resultado obtido mostrou que a densidade de drenagem apresenta-se bastante variável na área, o que reflete o grau de permeabilidade das formações superficiais que estruturam a paisagem, e que as técnicas de análise morfométrica do relevo são de grande valia para a análise da morfogênese de uma área.Downloads
