TÉCNICA DE AVALIAÇÃO DAS CARACTERÍSTICAS HIDROGEOMORFOLÓGICAS DE VERTENTES PARA O PLANEJAMENTO URBANO
Abstract
Este artigo demonstra um conjunto de técnicas que permitem instrumentalizar o processo de zoneamento urbano sob a perspectiva da drenagem sustentável. O reconhecimento das características hidrogeomorfológicas naturais das vertentes pode fundamentar uma proposta de ocupação que favoreça a manutenção da infiltração e conseqüente diminuição do escoamento superficial, de processos erosivos e de enchentes. Tal caracterização baseia-se na experimentação com infiltrômetro e penetrômetro, e na análise granulométrica dos horizontes superficiais dos solos. Toma-se como estudo de caso uma vertente localizada na área urbana de Rio Claro-SP. Tal vertente apresenta relativa variabilidade litológica, pedológica e de declividade, características que dão indício de significativa variação do comportamento hídrico em sua extensão. Mediante tais procedimentos técnicos e com auxílio de análises geoestatísticas é possível produzir material cartográfico que permite compreender as características hidrogeomorfológicas nos diferentes setores de uma vertente, subsidiando o zoneamento urbano ambiental, em uma escala de detalhe.Downloads
