This paper describes the main fluviokarstic and exokarstic features developed in quartzite in southeastern region of the Diamantina/MG. The methodological procedure consisted: i) literature review, ii) field work, iii) prospecting, identifying and georeferencing of karst features, and iv) features spatialization using ArcGis 9.3 software. Correlations between the density of some features identified in the study area (as dissolution dolines, sinkholes and upwellings) were also performed with others registered by other studies. The results showed the occurrence of fluviokarstic and exokarstic features in the studied area, such as sinkholes, skylights, massifs, karren, arches, moles, towers, wall borders, sinks, resurgences and upwellings. The area studied shows sparsely occurrence of features compared those registered in areas of carbonate rocks, although the karstic potential is higher than the mapped. The dolines of dissolution occurrence in the studied area is below those identified by Uagoda et al. (2011) in the area of quartzite rocks at the Paraíba do Sul basin. However, the fluviokarstics features are more frequent in the Diamantina southeast region than in the region investigated by Uagoda et al. (2011). This indicates karstic potentialities and stimulates the development of further studies in the area.
