Resumo

Resumo: O texto pretende apresentar um painel das aproximações recentes entre os estudos literários e a ciência biológica, enfatizando a distinção entre uma leitura biológica do fenômeno literário e uma apreciação do texto literário segundo essas ferramentas.

Abstract: This essay intends to present a panoramic view of recent approximations between literary studies and biological science, underlining the difference between a biological reading of the literary phenomenon and a critique of the literary text that should employ such tools.
