Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The contribution is original and unpublished, and is not being evaluated for publication by another journal; otherwise, it should be justified in "Comments to the editor".
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word, OpenOffice or RTF format.
- URLs for referrals were informed when possible.
- Text is in spacing 1.5; uses italic instead of underlining (except URL addresses); the figures and tables are inserted in the text, not at the end of the document in the form of attachments.
- The text follows the style standards and bibliographic requirements described in the Guidelines for Authors, on the About the Journal page.
- In case of submission to a peer-reviewed section (e.g., articles), the instructions available to ensure blind peer evaluation were followed.
- After the article's approval, no author will be allowed to be included.
- To send the article, all authors must be registered on the CBR website.
- Authors must provide the ORCID number at the time of submission.
- Authors need to contribute to the journal by participating in the peer review process.
- If necessary, authors must provide retractions or corrections for errors.
- Authors need to inform the list of references and the financial support received to carry out the research.
- Texts can be submitted in Portuguese and English. However, for articles submitted in Portuguese, if the article is approved, the authors will have to send a translated version into English at the end of the evaluation process.

- The authors authorize the publication of the article in the journal.
- The opinions and ideas expressed in articles are the sole responsibility of the authors.
- The authors guarantee that the article is not the result of plagiarism. Failure to do so may result in penalties for the situation.
- Editors are allowed to make textual and formatting adjustments to fit the article into the publication standards of the journal.
- The articles published are the property of CBR, protected by copyright. But, authors are allowed to disclose and make their articles available for free.
