Recém lançado pela Companhia Editora de Pernambuco, CEPE, o livro Desalento Lusitano, Territórios e fortes na capitania de Pernambuco entre os séculos XVI e XVII, apresenta um exaustivo levantamento geométrico das fortificações e sua comparação com os tratados vigentes na época em que foram construídos.
