Da cooperação à competição: análise estratégica das relações Sino-Americanas (1945-2020)

As disputas e acirramentos envolvendo Estados Unidos e China abrangem várias expressões do Poder Nacional, perpassando também pela por suas políticas externa e de defesa.Este trabalho tem como objetivo principal analisar, à luz da teoria realista de relações internacionais, a evolução das relações entre Estados Unidos e China, no período compreendido entre 1945 e 2020, com especial interesse na identificação de nexos da dinâmica das relações sino-americanas ná área de defesa e a adoção da Estratégia do America First. Realiza-se uma pesquisa de estilo qualitativo, com auxílio da Análise de Política de Defesa, focada em documentos oficiais norte-americanos e chineses de defesa, serão analisadas algumas mudanças de posturas e políticas externas e militares desses dois países, bem como tais alterações suscitaram respostas estratégicas, a fim de trazer luz à intrincada dinâmica de poder envolvendo esses importantes atores do cenário internacional hodierno.Referências
