Characterize current drainage network, especially in complex and sunken areas, such as the Amazon favor the identification of factors which control the processing over time, since they are sensitive systems will crustal deformations. Countless studies involving the mapping of current and previous fluvial features in the Amazon have marked discussions involving the formation and evolution of Amazonian drainage systems. In this context, this paper aims to identify and analyze anomalies drainage area called Alto Juruá Juruá River drainage system in the states of Acre and Amazonas, using different remote sensing data and digital image processing. This work is based on digital processing analysis of digital elevation model (DEM) from SRTM and use of additional data as drainage network in shapfile format. The results of morphostructural analysis of the Juruá River drainage systems with remote sensing data support concluded that the High Juruá presents strong evidence of tectonic features affecting the landscape. The drainage anomalies are distributed throughout the study area. Overall, the analysis of drainage patterns, guidelines and anomalies, performed in the basin, demonstrate strong conditioning of structures in the drainage network.
