Relações Comerciais e Sociais: o caso da Praça Darcy Marinho localizada na cidade de Tocantinópolis/TO

Abstract

This visual ethnographic essay is the result of discussions carried out along the course of Audiovisual Anthropology, offered at Social Sciences College of Federal University of Tocantins (UFT), by Professor Mariane da Silva Pisani. Located in the city of Tocantinópolis, State of Tocantins, Deputado Darcy Gomes Marinho Square emerges as the main ethnographic scenario. Our main aim with these photographs is to highlight the recent renovation that Deputado Darcy G. Marinho Square has been going through. In addition, we will show how this reform influences the multiple actors that transit, circulate and establish forms of social relations, especially street vendors and their clients.
