Perfil de internação de recém-nascidos de alto risco em uma unidade de cuidado intermediário neonatal

Resumo

RESUMO

Objetivo: traçar o perfil dos neonatos de alto-risco. Método: estudo documental, retrospectivo e transversal, com abordagem quantitativa, no qual foram utilizados 211 prontuários de neonatos internados em uma unidade de cuidado intermediário neonatal. As variáveis estudadas foram: gênero; peso; doença de base; e motivo da alta. Os dados coletados foram analisados no Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, versão 20, com base em frequências simples e absoluta e por meio de análise comparativa. Resultados: quanto ao gênero, o sexo masculino foi o mais prevalente com 55,45%; sobre o tipo de afecção, predominou a taquipneia transitória do recém-nascido com 26,06%; a respeito do peso, 78,67% dos recém-nascidos estavam dentro da normalidade; já em relação ao tipo de alta, a maioria apresentou alta com melhora clínica (93,36%); e os casos de óbitos corresponderam a 3,32%. Conclusão: conhecer o perfil desses neonatos colabora para o planejamento de políticas públicas que reduzam os óbitos neonatais. ABSTRACT

Objective: to describe the profile of high-risk neonates. Method: transversal, retrospective and documentary study with quantitative approach, in which 211 medical records of newborns admitted to a neonatal intermediate care unit were used. The variables studied were: gender; weight; underlying disease; and discharge reason. The data collected were analyzed using the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, version 20, based on simple and absolute frequencies, and through comparative analysis. Results: as for gender, males were the most prevalent with 55.45%; regarding the type of disease, transient tachypnea of the newborn predominated with 26.06%; with respect to weight, 78.67% of the newborns were within the normal range; in relation to the type of discharge, most of the newborns had been discharged with clinical improvement (93.36%); and cases of deaths corresponded to 3.32%. Conclusion: knowing the profile of these newborns collaborates for the planning of public policies aimed at reducing neonatal deaths. Objetivo: describir el perfil de neonatos de alto riesgo. Método: estudio documental, retrospectivo y transversal con enfoque cuantitativo en el cual se utilizaron 211 registros médicos de recién nacidos internados en una unidad de cuidado intermedio neonatal. Las variables estudiadas fueron: género; peso; enfermedad de base; y motivo del alta. Los datos obtenidos se analizaron en el Statistical Package for the Social Sciences, versión 20, con base en las frecuencias simple y absoluta y por medio de análisis comparativa. Resultados: en cuanto al género, el sexo masculino fue el más frecuente con 55,45%; al respecto del tipo de enfermedad, predominó la taquipnea transitoria del recién nacido con 26,06%; en relación con el peso, el 78,67% de recién nacidos estaba dentro de la normalidad; en cuanto al tipo de alta, la mayoría fue dada alta con mejoría clínica (93,36%); y los casos de muertes correspondieron a 3,32%. Conclusión: conocer el perfil de estos recién nacidos colabora para la planificación de políticas públicas que reduzcan la mortalidad neonatal. Effective member of the Research Group on Occupational Health UNIFESP / CNPq. Has experience as a researcher in the area of ​​the FITS Exact and Earth Sciences / Chemistry of Natural Products (Fellow PROBIC). He was part of the framework of Teachers of Santa Barbara School of Nursing and the Center for Vocational Alagoas teaching disciplines Notions of Anatomy and Physiology, Microbiology Understanding, Understanding of Parasitology, Health Education, Public Health Public Health I and II. Aldrya Ketly Pedrosa, Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL)

Holds a degree in Nursing from the University of Fortaleza (2004). Post Graduate in Nursing Stomatherapy, State University of Ceará (2007). MS in Health Education in the Department of Medicine of the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL). Operates since 2009 as a teacher holder undergraduate degree in nursing from the University Integrated Tiradentes-Alagoas (FITS / UNIT), teaching the disciplines of Child Health and Adolescent Care System Nursing Management and Enfemagem Public Health. Acts as stoma nurse autonomously, with home care and providing consulting in the area of ​​wound, ostomy and incontinence to public hospitals and private.

Milva Figueiredo De Martino, Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP)

Holds a degree in Nursing from the University of São Paulo (1972), MA in Psychobiology from the University of São Paulo (1989) and Ph.D. in Biological Sciences (Physiology), University of Campinas (1996). Associate Professor at UNICAMP (2002). post doctorate from the University of Porto bag with the European Union - Mundus 17-period (2010-2011). P Visiting Associate Professor at the Federal University of São Paulo (2007-2009), Associate Professor volunteer at the State University of Campinas. He has experience in nursing, with emphasis on Fundamentals of Nursing, acting on the following topics: Work shifts, Chronobiology, sleep and wakefulness cycle shifts in nursing. Post-doc completed by the Department of Nursing at the University of Lisbon (2007) n-06/56833-7 FAPESP scholarship. Currently a full professor of post graduation FCM / UNICAMP and UNIFESP, Department of Nursing, School of Medicine (2007-2010 Post-doc with CNPq scholarship, School of Enfermgem of Univ.Lisboa (2012-2013).
