Evaluation of the standard of the registers of nursing in a private hospital in the city of São Paulo

Patient’s prompt book is a legal document that must contain the internment information. Therefore it is essential to know the legal aspects to evaluate the importance of the correct register of all the activities. This study presented the following goals: 1) To evaluate the standard of registers of nursing concerning the origin place of the register, time of fulfilling, professional category, Decision COREN-SP-DIR/001/2000, SAE and debts; 2) To number measures that direct the actions of the service of Continued Education. It was a descriptive research, as well as a retrospective ones and the approach was a quantitative ones. The sample, from 150 prompt books, was selected by conglomerate. The survey and analysis of the data had demonstrated in general that, the registers had presented imperfections and that an intervention was necessary, and the suggested measures of support in this study had intended to contemplate these necessities.
