A PRODUÇÃO DO ESPAÇO URBANO E A QUALIDADE DO AR DA CIDADE DE DOURADOS (MS/BRASIL)
Abstract
Este trabalho objetiva averiguar a qualidade do ar de Dourados, cidade localizada no Estado de Mato Grosso do Sul (MS), a partir da amostragem das concentrações de partículas sólidas inaláveis presentes na atmosfera urbana, por meio do uso do aparelho Handheld Laser Particle Counter modelo P311 da marca Airy Tecnology. Como um estudo de clima urbano, o foco ateve-se ao subsistema físico-químico, na aplicação da tese Sistema Clima Urbano (SCU) proposta por Monteiro (1976). Dessa forma, evidenciaram-se as emissões e as concentrações de partículas sólidas inaláveis na área urbana da cidade. Para realização do estudo foram definidos 15 pontos/locais de amostragem no perímetro urbano e os registros deram-se nos anos de 2013 e 2014. Os dados amostrados em alguns pontos da cidade apontam níveis superiores àqueles previstos na legislação CONAMA 03/90. Detectou-se também uma dinâmica intrinsecamente ligada ao cotidiano da cidade, evidenciando assim a íntima relação da poluição atmosférica com a produção do espaço urbano. Acredita-se que o estudo, inédito no MS, possa subsidiar outros estudos com as mesmas características, principalmente de cidades médias do Brasil, e, também pesquisas ligadas a climatologia, saúde e planejamento urbano e ambiental e/ou políticas públicas municipais
