O CONFRONTO ENTRE ESPAÇOS DE LIBERDADE E SEGURANÇA: O TERRITÓRIO DA TRÍPLICE FRONTEIRA (BRASIL, ARGENTINA E PARAGUAI)
Abstract
O presente estudo tem por objetivo analisar a situação dos “sacoleiros” e “laranjas” que vivem, na informalidade, na cidade de Foz do Iguaçu, bem como o narcotráfico estabelecido na fronteira do Paraguai (Capitán Bado e Pedro Juan Caballero) e Brasil (Mato Grosso do Sul, município de Coronel Sapucaia). São duas realidades ocorrentes em lugares diferentes da fronteira brasileira com o Paraguai, as quais se desenvolvem em territórios de nações sob o regime do Estado de Direito democrático, ainda que, as populações residentes na fronteira estejam muito distantes de lograrem o genuíno exercício da liberdade, da cidadania e justiça social. São, portanto, territórios tidos como democráticos, mas cujas populações vivenciam conflitos exacerbados na sua busca incessante do direito à educação e ao trabalho.
