A ECOCIDADANIA NO ENSINO DE GEOGRAFIA E NA EDUCAÇÃO AMBIENTAL: assumindo novos papéis e reconstruindo a trajetória da escola
Abstract
A formação do sujeito comprometido, ativo e consciente de sua tarefa para com a transformação social permeia a perspectiva de uma escola que tem se buscado na contemporaneidade. A ecocidadania em muito tem a contribuir com a reconstrução da trajetória desta escola que aí está, perpassando pela reformulação de um ensino que não permite a inserção do aluno como partícipe do processo de ensino-aprendizagem e nem a possibilidade de construir o conhecimento a partir das relações deste com o mundo. Neste sentido, objetiva-se compreender como a ecocidadania permite que haja a construção ou a reconstrução de perspectivas no ensino de Geografia e na Educação Ambiental, sobretudo, atingindo uma dimensão holística, ao invés de operacional ou instrumental, na formação do aluno. Através de um levantamento analítico de referências, intenta-se entretecer um debate acerca da ecocidadania e seu contributo para com o processo de fomento a novas possibilidades no chão da escola.Downloads
