MUDANÇAS DO USO DA TERRA NO MUNICÍPIO DE SERRA TALHADA-PE UTILIZANDO ANÁLISE POR COMPONENTES PRINCIPAIS (ACP)
Abstract
A utilização de técnicas de sensoriamento remoto e geoprocessamento em análises ambientais têm se tornado uma prática cada vez mais freqüente. Em relação ao uso da terra e da cobertura vegetal, há uma contribuição de modo expressivo para a rapidez, eficiência e confiabilidade dos dados das análises dos diversos processos de modificação dos objetos estudados. O objetivo desse estudo foi analisar mudanças ocorridas no uso da terra no município de Serra Talhada-PE, utilizando Análise Por Componentes Principais (ACP), que é um método estatístico que pode ser usado facilmente para fazer correlações entre imagens de satélite. Foram utilizadas imagens Landsat 7 ETM+ em formato digital, órbita 216, ponto 66 de 14 de março de 2002 e Landsat 2 MSS, órbita 232, ponto 66 de 08 de março de 1981, que foram processadas utilizando o método da ACP e o programa ERDAS IMAGE 9.1. Foi identificada a cobertura vegetal para cada imagem e suas mudanças ocorridas entre os períodos 1981 e 2002. Houve aumento da cobertura vegetal em áreas expostas e diminuição em áreas não expostas. O resultado do balanço entre aumento e diminuição da vegetação foi um ganho de 1,76 %. A Análise por Componentes Principais mostrou-se uma boa técnica para avaliar mudanças da cobertura vegetal, utilizando imagens do satélite Landsat, permitindo desta forma sua quantificação e análise sazonal.Downloads
