AS COMUNIDADES DE FUNDO E FECHO DE PASTO NA BAHIA: LUTA NA TERRA E SUAS ESPACIALIZAÇÕES
Abstract
As comunidades de Fundos e Fechos de Pasto existentes na Bahia vêm sofrendo pressão expropriatória, desde 1970, o que resultou na organização da luta para manter-se na terra. Este artigo se propõe identificar a espacialização das comunidades de Fundo e Fechos de Pasto existentes no estado da Bahia, buscando entender como se configurou sua organização espacial, entendo-as enquanto construções históricas marcada pelo conflito. Os instrumentos metodológicos partem dos relatórios produzidos pelas instituições que trabalhavam com a questão – governamentais, eclesiais, associações dos próprios trabalhadores – e coleta direta de informações em encontros estaduais, identificando os critérios utilizados no processo de espacialização e o que isso significou para a discussão da questão agrária. Os resultados e discussões explicitam que: a) é impossível dissociar a luta na terra destas comunidades da questão agrária; b) a identidade das comunidades de Fundos e Fechos de Pasto é fruto, também e principalmente, de uma construção política; c) é a luta na terra que dá visibilidade ao Movimento, sendo neste processo, que passam de tutelado pelo Estado à sujeitos de sua própria história; d) o processo de criminalização é um dos elementos que compõe a reação da classe de proprietários de terra.Downloads
