SÍTIOS DE ESTABELECIMENTOS E RELAÇÕES ALOMÉTRICAS EM POPULAÇÕES LENHOSAS DA CAATINGA
Abstract
Objetivou-se caracterizar e comparar a variação de tamanho e a forma das plantas de quatro populações lenhosas da caatinga, crescendo em duas diferentes condições de sítios (presença e ausência de riacho) em uma área de caatinga em Sertânia-PE. Foi realizado um censo dos indivíduos de quatro populações lenhosas em um hectare de área amostral, sendo mensurado a altura e o diâmetro do caule das plantas. Foi realizada análise de regressão linear para descrever e comparar a relação de forma das plantas entre os sítios. A influência dos sítios sobre a forma alométrica das plantas depende da espécie considerada. Apenas C. pyramidalis não mostrou diferença na forma das plantas entre os sítios. As populações de C. peltophorus e C. leucocephala formaram populações mais densas em locais mais secos. Ambas as populações apresentam indivíduos perfilhados, mas só C. peltophorus mostrou diferenças no tamanho entre os indivíduos perfilhados e não perfilhados. As populações de C. peltophorus e C. leucocephala alocam mais recursos para o aumento em altura quando crescendo em leitos de pequenos riachos, enquanto J. molissima exibe maior aumento em altura crescendo na ausência de riachos.Downloads
