A LUTA PELO DIREITO A CIDADE: REGULARIZAÇÃO FUNDIÁRIA NO LOTEAMENTO QUARTA-FEIRA EM CUIABÁ-MT.

Abstract

O trabalho traz uma reflexão sobre os estudos urbanos e se pautará pelas discussões teóricas sobre o processo de regularização fundiária e no âmbito dos conceitos sobre ocupações irregulares. Neste sentido temos como ponto de partida, discutir as questões pertinentes à luta e resistência pelo espaço urbano, ou seja, pela moradia e a informalidade urbana partindo do loteamento Quarta Feira em Cuiabá - Mato Grosso. A origem do loteamento é resultado de uma ocupação irregular em área privada da cidade que teve inicio partir da década de 1970, quando ocorreu o primeiro movimento de ocupação da área, o processo de formação do loteamento sempre esteve atrelado à resistência pela moradia. A localidade do Quarta Feira não possui todo seu o perímetro regularizado, embora o loteamento seja uma das ocupações mais antigas da cidade de Cuiabá. Essas condições de moradia permite ampla discussão sobre a propriedade privada e a sua utilização, bem como, abre-se a discussão acerca da falta de políticas públicas voltadas para a regularização fundiária em Cuiabá. Este artigo tem como objetivo compreender o processo de ocupação do loteamento Quarta Feira. Palavras-chave: ocupação irregular, regularização fundiária, loteamento Quarta-Feira.
