FLORA E FORMAS DE VIDA EM UMA ÁREA DE RESTINGA NO LITORAL NORTE DE PERNAMBUCO, BRASIL
Abstract
O objetivo deste estudo foi listar as espécies e as formas de vida ocorrentes em uma área de praia na ilha de Itamaracá, contribuindo com dados sobre a riqueza florística do litoral norte do Estado de Pernambuco. O município de Itamaracá (07045’00’’S e 34049’30’’W) está localizado na região metropolitana a cerca de 50 km do Recife. As informações a cerca da florística foram obtidas no período de 2000 a 2001, através de algumas coletas e de consultas aos herbários do Estado. Foram identificadas 112 espécies, 101 gêneros, distribuídas em 43 famílias. As famílias Poaceae (12 espécies), Cyperaceae (10), Rubiaceae, Fabaceae e Asteraceae (7), Myrtaceae (6), entre outras, apresentaram maior número de espécies. A forma de vida predominante foram os fanerófitos (49 espécies), seguido de caméfitos (20) e terófitos (18). Os ecossistemas de restinga têm sido submetidos a crescentes impactos ao longo dos anos, além da restinga de Itamaracá apresentar ambientes alterados devido a grande influência antrópica, contribuindo para a descaracterização na composição florística dessa área.Downloads
