ANÁLISE DA ESTIMATIVA DE PRECIPITAÇÃO DO TRMM EM UMA SUB-BACIA DA AMAZÔNIA OCIDENTAL
Abstract
Neste trabalho foi realizada uma análise comparativa entre dados de precipitação observados e dados de precipitação estimados pelo satélite TRMM. Para tal foram utilizados dados de quatro estações meteorológicas e 6 pluviômetros localizados na bacia do rio Jamari, no estado de Rondônia e comparados com os dados do algoritmo 3B42 do TRMM. Foi realizada análise estatística com base no coeficiente de correlação entre as estações meteorológicas, postos pluviométricos e estimados. Os resultados obtidos indicam a existência de uma boa correlação entre os dados de precipitação dos 10 pontos observados e do TRMM. Os resultados indicam que o TRMM se correlaciona melhor com uma rede mais densa de pluviômetro até mesmo do que as estações meteorológicas comparadas com os pluviômetros. Quando comparado os dados acumulados ao longo do período estudado, os valores do TRMM foram praticamente idênticos aos da rede de pluviômetros. O satélite também foi hábil ao capturar a variabilidade sazonal da precipitação sobre a bacia, indicando que os resultados foram satisfatórios.Downloads
