ANÁLISE EM COMPONENTES PRINCIPAIS DA PRECIPITAÇÃO PLUVIAL NO ESTADO DO PIAUÍ E AGRUPAMENTO PELO MÉTODO DE WARD.
Abstract
A precipitação pluvial sofre variação espacial e temporal, sendo dependente de inúmeros fatores geográficos e atmosféricos locais e de grande escala. O aumento das séries históricas das variáveis necessárias a previsão e estudos do tempo e clima, indica a necessidade de estudos com métodos que possam extrair amostras que possuam a maior parte das informações estatísticas da base de dados. Usando o método da Análise em Componentes Principais (ACP), algumas características do padrão pluviométrico mensal de 27 estações no estado do Piauí, foram estabelecidas. Foram consideradas as duas primeiras componentes principais (CPs) rotacionadas, que explicam 88% da variância total dos dados, facilitando a correlação no tempo e espaço da origem da chuva no estado. Foi efetuado também a análise de agrupamento hierárquico utilizando o método de Ward, que identificou quatro grupos de precipitação homogênea e fez-se uma comparação com os setores territoriais explicados pelas CPs encontradas. A CP1 com maior parte da variância, explicou a precipitação de janeiro a agosto, com melhor ajuste para o grupo 1, norte do estado onde se observam os maiores valores de precipitação. Já a CP2 se ajustou bem ao grupo 4, no sul do estado, explicando melhor os meses de setembro a dezembro.Downloads
