PRODUÇÃO DO ESPAÇO E DINÂMICA DA POPULAÇÃO NO MUNICÍPIO DE RONCADOR – PR

Abstract

O presente artigo apresenta os resultados finais da pesquisa de iniciação cientifica realizada no município de Roncador - PR. Como metodologia utilizou-se referencial teórico sobre o tema proposto, dados disponibilizados por órgãos oficiais como IBGE e IPARDES, além de pesquisa de campo. Roncador apresenta uma economia com significativa participação do setor agrícola, empregos predominantemente no setor público e indicadores sociais abaixo da média do estado do Paraná. As constatações podem ser explicadas pelo modo como ocorreu a produção do espaço geográfico, influenciado pela ação do capital, que promoveu a migração rural-urbana e a redução da população no município em questão.
