ANÁLISE DA SUSCETIBILIDADE GEOPEDOLÓGICA À PRODUÇÃO DE SEDIMENTOS NA ÁREA DE DRENAGEM DA BAÍA DE ANTONINA/PR
Abstract
A baía de Antonina situada na porção leste do estado do Paraná revela no presente importantes taxas de assoreamento, o qual compromete à circulação de embarcações de médio e grande porte, traduzindo-se num significativo problema sócio-econômico em função da relevância da atividade portuária na região. No presente estudo pretendeu-se efetuar a análise da suscetibilidade geopedológica à produção de sedimentos nas bacias hidrográficas que drenam para a baía de Antonina, priorizando-se a delimitação e a hierarquização das áreas que disponibilizam esses sedimentos. Para tanto, as unidades geológicas, pedológicas e geomorfológicas foram hierarquizadas quanto ao potencial de suscetibilidade à disponibilização de sedimentos. Em seguida atribuíram-se valores a cada unidade existente, que variam de 1 (suscetibilidade muito baixa) a 3 (suscetibilidade muito alta). Finalmente, realizou-se a média aritmética dos elementos geopedológicos selecionados, sendo que a geomorfologia foi constituída pela média da declividade e forma das vertentes. Dentre os principais resultados deve-se salientar que a classe de moderada suscetibilidade revelou significativo predomínio, por corresponder a 63,9% da área, seguida das classes de baixa suscetibilidade (18,8%) e alta (13,1%). É pertinente apontar que os resultados do presente trabalho deverão subsidiar a aplicação de modelos voltados à estimativa da produção de sedimentos na área de drenagem da baía de Antonina.Downloads
