DIVERSIDADE DUNAR ENTRE CABO FRIO E O CABO BÚZIOS – RJ
Abstract
A geoconservação é de relevante interesse para humanidade, pois promove a conservação de ambientes, como sítios geológicos, geomorfológicos e paleontológicos. O objetivo principal do presente trabalho foi mapear as áreas de dunas do estado do Rio de Janeiro, situada entre o Cabo Búzios e o Cabo Frio, visando demonstrar a diversidade de formas dunares contidas nestas áreas, sua dinâmica evolutiva, e quanto deste patrimônio paisagístico e natural foi suprimido devido à ocupação através de empreendimentos turísticos. Através de ferramentas de geoprocessamento e validação das feições em campo, foi quantificado um total de 1.396,72 ha de área de dunas, sendo 1.145,65 ha em Cabo Frio, 214,27 ha na Praia do Peró e 36,80 ha em Tucuns. Foram identificadas as seguintes geoformas: dunas frontais, barcanas, parabólicas, megadunas e dunas com cobertura vegetal. Um resort já construído em Tucuns ocupa uma área correspondente a 18,61% do total da área de dunas. Outro resort já licenciado para construção, na planície costeira do Peró, irá ocupar praticamente toda a área de dunas, o que pode significar a diminuição não só da geodiversidade local, como em todo o estado do RJ, visto que os campos de dunas móveis são observados somente nesta área da costa fluminense.Downloads
