IDENTIFICAÇÃO DE TENDÊNCIAS CLIMÁTICAS NO ESTADO DA BAHIA
Abstract
O presente trabalho objetivou a identificação de tendências climáticas da precipitação pluviométrica e da temperatura do ar no Estado da Bahia. Para tal, foram utilizadas séries históricas correspondentes ao período de 1961 a 2009 da precipitação pluvial e temperatura média do ar à superfície de 16 localidades. Foi aplicado o teste não paramétrico de Mann-Kendall com intuito de avaliar o nível de significância das tendências das séries temporais das variáveis estudadas. Os resultados obtidos indicaram que para a localidade de Caravelas houve uma tendência crescente e significativa (2,301), indicando um aumento considerável da precipitação pluviométrica nessa região, o que pode ser justificada pela sua posição geográfica no litoral sul do estado da Bahia, numa região sujeita a atuação de fenômenos meteorológicos de escala sinótica tais como sistemas frontais e de micro escala tais como brisas e ainda resultante da interação desses dois sistemas. Enquanto que, na localidade de Cipó identificou-se uma tendência decrescente significativa (-2,05), que pode ser justificada também em virtude da sua localização mais a norte do estado da Bahia inserida na região de clima semi-árido. Nas demais localidades foram observadas tendências crescentes não significativas ou tendências decrescentes não significativas. Já a temperatura do ar mostrou-se crescente e significativa para grande maioria das localidades, com exceção de Canavieiras que apresentou uma tendência crescente, porém não significativa (1,32). Santos (2010) estudando cenários climáticos para o nordeste do Brasil, também encontrou tendências positivas da temperatura do ar estatisticamente significativas em localidades do Estado da Bahia. Com esses resultados pode se confirmar a real tendência de aquecimento observado nessas últimas décadas com os dados analisados para o estado da Bahia e subsidiar estudos que promovam a investigação dos cenários futuros para o aquecimento e ou resfriamento da atmosfera.Downloads
