Dinâmica Territorial da Agricultura Camponesa na Comunidade do Cravo no Nordeste Paraense
Abstract
Este artigo apresenta algumas questões referentes à agricultura camponesa na comunidade do Cravo no município de Concórdia do Pará, no nordeste paraense. O objetivo do trabalho é compreender as relações produtivas e o uso da terra pela pequena produção, e suas implicações para com o modo de vida camponês. Ao longo do texto, procuramos fazer algumas considerações sobre a produção camponesa realizada na comunidade, discutindo como tem se dado o processo produtivo e a relação dos camponeses com o mercado. Num segundo momento traçamos alguns comentários sobre o sistema de roças, que constitui a base de sustentação do campesinato local. Por fim, apresentamos a interferência que a agricultura itinerante tem causado na comunidade, como o empobrecimento do solo e consequentemente a baixa produtividade, além de atermos algumas reflexões sobre a disponibilidade de terra para o trabalho familiar camponês.Downloads
