GEOPROCESSAMENTO APLICADO Á ANÁLISE DOS IMPACTOS SOCIOAMBIENTAIS URBANOS: estudo de caso do bairro Santo Expedito em Buritizeiro/MG GEOPROCESSING APPLIED ANALYSIS TO ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIAL IMPACTS OF URBAN: a case study of the neighborhood in Santo Exp
Abstract
RESUMO O presente trabalho procura associar as técnicas de Geoprocessamento ao estudo dos impactos socioambientais oriundos da ocupação espacial das cidades e sua continuada expansão. Analisando a situação do município de Buritizeiro no Norte de Minas Gerais, cujo território é o 5º maior do Estado, enfatizando o bairro Santo Expedito, conjunto habitacional construído em 2007, situado na porção SW (Sudoeste) da cidade. Para elaboração do mesmo usou-se a os seguintes métodos: revisão bibliográfica em periódicos, dissertações e livros específicos, embasado em Fagundes Junior, (2009), Pereira e Silva, (2000), Tretin e Freitas, (2009), Villeneuve, (2006) cujos trabalhos abordam a temática de Geoprocessamento, SIG e estudos urbanos, respectivamente; levantamento documental na Secretaria de Cultura e na prefeitura do município; campanha de campo com registro fotográfico visando estabelecer um banco de dados a respeito dos impactos socioambientais gerados pela ocupação do bairro mencionado; cruzamento das informações e análise das mesmas gerando mapas temáticos usando o software ArcGIS versão 9.3. Percebeu-se na área estudada a ocorrência de impactos ambientais negativos como o depósito irregular de lixo residencial nas áreas próximas ao bairro, principalmente na drenagem intermitente que cruza o mesmo ao meio em sentido geral NW/SE; entupimento do canal da referida drenagem; lançamento de esgoto residencial nas ruas do bairro e ausência de pavimentação. Como impactos positivos notaram-se: a ocorrência de aquecedor solar para água usada para banho em todas as residências; água encanada e fornecimento de energia elétrica em todo o bairro além de possuir o entroncamento entre as avenidas Patos de Minas e Extremidade que são vias que interligam a área mais periférica da cidade ao centro comercial. Palavras-Chave: Geoprocessamento; Buritizeiro/MG; impactos socioambientais; bairro Santo Expedito ABSTRACT This paper seeks to make GIS techniques to the study of social and environmental impacts arising from the spatial distribution of cities and their continued expansion. Analyzing the situation of the municipality of Buritizeiro in northern Minas Gerais State-Brazil, whose territory is the 5th largest in the state, emphasizing the quarter Santo Expedito housing built in 2007, located in the portion of SW (southwest) of the city. Used for preparation of the same to the following methods: literature in journals, dissertations and books specific, based on Fagundes Jr., (2009), Pereira e Silva (2000), Tretin e Freitas (2009), Villeneuve ( 2006) whose papers address the issue of Geoprocessing, Geoprocessing and urban studies, respectively; documentary surveys the Department of Culture and the municipal council; field campaign with photographic record to establish a database about the social and environmental impacts generated by the occupation of district mentioned, the intersection of information and analysis of the same generating thematic maps using ArcGIS version 9.3 software. It was noticed in the study area the occurrence of negative environmental impacts such as irregular deposit garbage in residential areas near the neighborhood, especially in intermittent drainage that crosses the middle in the same general direction NW / SE, clogging the channel of said drainage release residential sewage in the streets of the neighborhood and no paving. As positive results were noted: the occurrence of solar water heater used to bath in all residences, piped water and electricity supply throughout the neighborhood as well as having the junction between the Patos de Minas and avenues which are paths that End connecting the most peripheral area to downtown.
