Áreas de risco no município de Ouro Branco-MG: identificação e relação com o crescimento urbano da região do Alto Paraopeba
Abstract
Esse trabalho propõe uma descrição histórica da expansão urbana no município de Ouro Branco-MG e de seus reflexos sobre a formação de áreas de risco, com a identificação e caracterização das mesmas, além da listagem das soluções técnicas que têm sido tomadas e da proposição de outras que possam ser implementadas com o objetivo de evitar a deflagração de mecanismos de instabilização dos terrenos. Para a consecução do trabalho, foi feito um levantamento bibliográfico preliminar visando descrever o processo de expansão urbana sofrido pelo município, além da obtenção de dados que permitissem mapear as áreas de risco. Adicionalmente, foram identificadas as intervenções geotécnicas já realizadas em algumas dessas áreas (obras de estabilização), além de outras medidas dos órgãos públicos destinadas a restringir a deflagração desse processo diante do atual cenário de desenvolvimento da região.Downloads
