SENSORIAMENTO REMOTO: AVANÇOS E PERSPECTIVAS
Abstract
Este trabalho é resultado de uma investigação que tem por objeto o sensoriamento remoto orbital, tendo como foco principal de análise os diferentes sistemas sensores e suas aplicações. A fundamentação teórica ampara-se em diversos estudos que buscam destacar as características e aplicações das imagens de satélite. O objetivo da pesquisa foi traçar um panorama sobre os avanços e perspectivas do sensoriamento remoto orbital, baseando-se em uma pesquisa de caráter bibliográfico. Os resultados obtidos evidenciam que nos últimos 15 anos (1999 a 2014) a evolução tecnológica do sensoriamento remoto, notadamente dos sensores orbitais de alta resolução espacial, com 19 deles tendo sido lançados no período, bem como dos sensores hiperespectrais que, com suas centenas de bandas espectrais, passam a discriminar mais classes de alvos na superfície da Terra, passou a oferecer uma quantidade, e qualidade, cada vez maior de imagens de satélite. O trabalho conclui que as perspectivas para o sensoriamento remoto são as de desenvolvimento de novos sensores com resolução temporal, espectral e espacial cada vez melhores e com produção de imagens mais baratas, mas que, no entanto, com alguns desafios que ainda necessitem de mais atenção, a fim de assegurar a evolução desta tecnologia, tais como a disseminação e popularização do sensoriamento remoto nas escolas de ensino básico.Downloads
