POVO XUKURU DO ORORUBÁ: LUTAS, RESISTÊNCIAS E INSURGÊNCIAS NO ESPAÇO AGRÁRIO PERNAMBUCANO

Este artigo busca fazer uma reflexão sobre comunidades e povos tradicionais diante dos conflitos fundiários que ocorreram na Terra Indígena no Nordeste, trazendo para o debate a realidade do povo Xukuru do Ororubá, de Pesqueira – PE que desde o período colônia vem lutando para manter suas terras, identidade e territórios. Para realização do estudo foi utilizadas a pesquisa documental com documentos da Fundação Nacional do Índio (FUNAI) e Conselho Missionário Indigenista (CIMI), e pesquisa bibliográfica referente à temática central da reflexão. Também foram utilizadas informações obtidas em encontro de povos tradicionais, grupo de estudos e pesquisa sobre a questão agraria, e temáticas referentes ao espaço agrário, comunidades e tradicionais, entre outros.
