SUPERFÍCIES MORFOESTRATIGRÁFICAS MESORREGIONAIS NA ÁREA DE PAUDALHO – PERNAMBUCO
Abstract
O mapeamento sistemático da geomorfologia no Estado de Pernambuco em escala de detalhe é escasso. Visando minimizar este problema, este trabalho propõe um modelo de compartimentação geomórfica, com enfoque sistêmico, na área coberta pela folha SB.25-Y-C-V-4, que engloba o município de Paudalho e adjacências, localizando-se a cerca de 45 Km do Recife. A reunião de informações morfométricas e sua correlação com as tipologias da estrutura superficial da paisagem conduziram à proposição dos seguintes compartimentos: Tabuleiros Sobre a Formação Barreiras, Colinas sobre a Formação Barreiras, Tabuleiros sobre formações arenosas, Colinas sobre areias quartzosas indistintas, Colinas sobre o cristalino intemperizado, Planícies aluviais, Terraços fluviais, Encostas estruturadas em colúvio, Inselbergue granítico, Crista quartizítica, Vales colmatados e Modelados especiais.Downloads
