EVOLUÇÃO DA PAISAGEM DO PLANALTO SUL DE MINAS CORRELAÇÕES ENTRE ANÁLISE MORFOMÉTRICA DA REDE DE DRENAGEM E TERMOCRONOLOGIA POR TRAÇOS DE FISSÃO EM APATITAS
Abstract
O presente trabalho buscou através correlação de dados da análise morfométrica da rede de drenagem e analise por Traços de Fissão em Apatitas (TFA) ter evidencias de condicionamento tectônico na rede de drenagem. As técnicas utilizadas foram o Perfil Longitudinal e os Índices Relação Declividade x Extensão do Canal, aplicados aos principais rios da região Sul de Minas Gerais, nas proximidades das cidades de Poços de Caldas, Caldas e Machado. Os dados obtidos permitiram verificar que algumas drenagens estão encaixadas em lineamentos NE-SW, possuindo um baixo valor de RDE e um perfil longitudinal equilibrado, enquanto outras estão sendo cortadas por lineamentos NW-SE, apresentando os maiores índices RDEs e perfis longitudinais longe do equilíbrio, mostrando trechos que podem ter sofrido soerguimento. As idades de TFA indicam que a região registra os dois principais eventos do sudeste, ou seja, a abertura do Oceano Atlântico e o Magmatismo Alcalino de Poços de Caldas e a correlação entre os dados indicam que as drenagens mais antigas se reajustaram e outras foram formadas após esses períodos.Downloads
