PANORÂMA DO USO E OCUPAÇÃO DO SOLO PRESENTE NAS ÁREAS DE PRESERVAÇÃO PERMANENTE DA BACIA HIDROGRÁFICA DO RIO ALMADA-BA
Abstract
Este trabalho tem o objetivo de mapear as tipologias de uso e ocupação do solo presentes nas Áreas de Preservação Permanente (APP) da Bacia Hidrográfica do Rio Almada considerando os pressupostos de definição, limites e finalidade de APP contidos nas resoluções do Conselho Nacional de Meio Ambiente (CONAMA). Para tanto, a metodologia adotada inicialmente contemplou atividades de levantamento e consolidação de dados de base cartográfica, modelo digital do terreno (MDT) e mapeamento de classes de uso e ocupação do solo. Em seguida, os polígonos de APP foram individualizados na área a partir da manipulação de planos de informações cartográficas e MDT em ambiente de Sistemas de Informação Geográfica, para posterior cruzamento com as classes de uso e ocupação obtidas. Os resultados encontrados atestam um quadro em que as áreas antropizadas por pastagens, solo exposto e urbanização representam, em média, 28% do uso do solo das APP da BHRA, enquanto que as áreas de cobertura vegetal natural, representadas pela mata atlântica e manguezais, constituem cerca de 25%. A cabruca (mata atlântica raleada sobre plantação de cacau) ocorre com aproximadamente 29% de representatividade.Downloads
