In order to observe the surface runoff and the indices of floods in the Ipojuca River basin, simulations were carried out using the Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model, in an attempt to raise the hydrological parameters so that the simulated scenarios are close to the real data. The present study aims to generate the calibration of the Ipojuca River watershed, in order to organize a database that provides support for other research, as well as actions for the management of water resources. In this context, the research consists of showing and comparing the possible increases in annual runoff through the analysis of four scenarios obtained through the SWAT model for the Ipojuca River basin, in the state of Pernambuco, in order to support the System of Hydrological Response Units for Pernambuco (SUPer). As a result, there were great possibilities of flooding along the basin, aggravated by human activities.References
