Abstract

O texto estabelece um marco analítico acerca da questão agrária, a partir da leitura da contradição central do desenvolvimento do capital enunciada por Marx, demonstrando o sentido das transformações capitalistas dos processos de trabalho agrícola. Nesse sentido, a questão agrária no Brasil é problematizada a partir da formação dos Complexos Agroindustriais como estruturas capitalistas representantes do aprofundamento da relação do valor e da produção baseada no valor também na agricultura e do seu desdobramento sobre a agricultura camponesa. Por fim, indaga-se sobre o papel, ainda não consolidado, a ser desempenhado pelo campesinato no âmbito da transformação substantiva da sociedade, sobretudo num momento em que a questão agrária mais do que nunca, passa a integrar o contexto da mundialização do capital.

Carlos Roberto da Silva Maia, UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO CEARÁ

Bacharel em Ciências Econômicas (2009) e Mestre em Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente - PRODEMA/UFC (2013) pela Universidade Federal do Ceará. Atualmente é doutorando em Geografia pela Universidade Federal do Ceará. Concentra estudo nas áreas de economia espacial, geografia econômica, economia ecológica e desenvolvimento territorial.

Francisco Amaro Gomes de Alencar, Universidade Federal do Ceará

Bacharel em Geografia pela Universidade Estadual do Ceará (1984), mestrado em Desenvolvimento e Meio Ambiente pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (1998) e doutorado em Sociologia pela Universidade Federal do Ceará (2005). No período de fevereiro de 1985 à dezembro de 1991 trabalhou como geógrafo no Instituto de Desenvolvimento Agrário do Ceará (IDACE), na função de assessor técnico para assentamentos rurais do Estado. Entre os anos de 1989 - 1991, ministrou vários cursos sobre elaboração de projetos e gestão para os assentamentos rurais, patrocinados pelo PNUD,SUDENE e BNB. Professor do Departamento de Geografia da Universidade Federal do Ceará, à partir de dezembro de 1991. Tem experiência na área de Geografia, com ênfase em Geografia Agrária,nos seguintes temas: assentamento rural, questão agrária, programas de reforma agrária e gestão em assentamentos rurais.

Israel Rodrigues Bezerra, UNIVERSIDADE FEDERAL DO CEARÁ

Graduando em Geografia (Licenciatura) pela Universidade Federal do Ceará, possui interesse em Geografia Agrária. Foi bolsista de iniciação a docência de Geografia da População em 2014 e bolsista de iniciação a docência de Geografia Agrária, é integrante do Laboratório de Estudos Agrários e Territórias - LEAT.
