CARTEMA journal is A4 size!

We're back from vacation with some awesome news to share: CARTEMA – Journal of the UFPE-UFPB Graduate Program in Visual Arts got a Qualis A4 rating in the CAPES Quadrennial Evaluation (2021–2024). This achievement shows how hard we work and how committed we are to the quality of Brazilian research.

We would like to thank the Dean of Research and Innovation at the Federal University of Pernambuco (PROPESQI), the team at the Federal University of Pernambuco Journal Portal, the UFPB-UFPE Associated Graduate Program in Visual Arts, and everyone who contributed to this achievement: the editorial team (Luciana Borre, Maria Emilia Sardelich, Maria Betânia e Silva, Walton Ribeiro, and Rafaela Lopes), reviewers, authors, dossier organizers, and readers.

With 13 years of history, CARTEMA Magazine promotes research on the theoretical, historical, methodological, and artistic foundations of processes in the visual arts; the educational, artistic, and creative training of professionals working in multiple areas of the arts; and the artistic and creative practices of teachers and teaching.
