Abstract

The article proposes reflections on the construction of a particular visual poetics that has the house and the affective path as references for the realization of drawings that establish themselves as root maps, developed within the research project Raízes Poéticas, linked to the research group Articulações Poéticas from the Universidade do Estado de Santa Catarina (UDESC) and inspired by the proposal of drawing roots. The work proposes a poetic experience of remembrance of affective paths related to old homes, thinking about the body in displacement and how the memories of these spaces and paths can be mapped. In this way, the creative process presented in this article is directly linked with aspects of everyday life and with the search for memories of a certain context experienced by the artist. These actions are unfolded in the sketches of the drawings that makes each root map.
