Building through reconstruction: creative process through Exchange of affection and personal narratives

Abstract

This article analyses the creative process between two people who use different media in their artistic work. The course of their partnership is approached through its guiding characteristic, which is the exchange of affections and personal narratives. The objective of this investigation is to access how the making of their artistic products is constructed through the exchange of subjectivities that carry multiple aspects, both similar and unrelated. For this, this study uses an intimate approach as methodology that welcomes testimonials, personal messages and images enlisting in this construction of partnership other artists as a point of comparison. The research continues in this exploration making use of the concepts of relational aesthetics of the French curator, essayist, and art critic Nicolas Bourriaud and of the questions about the creative processes of the Russian critic and writer Viktor Chklovski as also taking them in the conclusive analysis of this text.
