This paper is a double attempt to present in its contexts the work of Rafael Sánchez Ferlosio and to outline some of the constants that cross and link his varied trajectory, giving it a certain unity despide the surprising particularly of each of his movements. What linkshis novels -so different-between them and these with his essay work, no less varied? More than coming from a single author, it could well be the work of several. And yet, this variety (to some extent disconcerting), is crossed by a background gravitation, some threads difficult to grasp in concepts or categories (and not to say already in “aesthetic” or “poetic”...) but that endows itwith a rare coherence. Rare for infrequent and rare for its own dynamics, unwared of what philosophical logic or a literary aesthetic program usually provide. Startling from the premise of its irreducibility, in this article, we will try to find some of those keys.References
