Guilherme Zarvos’ writing and a question for intermidiality

A fair share of the poet Guilherme Zarvos’ recent works heads towards the visual experimentation of writing, which reflects on a mixture of visual and verbal elements that challenge the notion of reading simply as decoding linguistic elements. Regarding the experimental aspect of “Escritos de garranchos”, I aim at comprehending how itsnotion of writing presents itself as a hindrance to well consolidated definitions from the intermidiality studies. In order to do that, I compare Zarvos’ writing techniques to Jørgen Bruhn and Lars Elleström definitions of medium, midiality and modality.References
