Abstract

More than just represent our reality, the literary object establishes with reality a two ways dialogue; proposing meanings, perspectives and even a way of life which are unprecedented on the real world. Among the most complex constructsof this kind there is the “romantic love”, discussed here from the liaisons between an obscure Brazilian novel published in 1955 and the studies by Norbert Elias and Jacques Lacan on Middle Ages’ songs.
