Meaningeffects ofRecursive Loopingon Aesthetic Experience: a classification proposal

Abstract

The   aesthetic   experience   provided   by   the   interaction   with literature is immanent and transformative, causing effects on readers mind and  promoting  emancipation.  In  the  reading  process  we  synthesize  and seize each word, sentence and paragraph content, in a constant movement of  recursive  looping  between  the  points  of  viewpresente  there,  making reading a circular process of resumption of statements inside the text and with    articulation    between  text’s  repertoire  and  reader’s  repertoire. Aesthetic  experience   studies,  resulting   from  reader-text  interaction,  is capable  to  provide  relevant  considerations  for  literary  studies.  Therefore, this  article  aims  identify  recursive  loopings  as resulting from meaning effects.This objective emerges as an unfolding of the Theory of Aesthetic Effect  and  Literary  Anthropology,  both  created  by  Wolfgang  Iser,  when poring   over   the   looping   recursive   procedure,   discussing   the   various possibilities  of experiencing  the  recursivities  in  literary  texts  and  other fictional  narratives.  Thus,  from  the  analysis  of  reading  experiences  and theoretical  formulations  it  was  possible  to  identify  six  types  of  meaning achievements  via  looping  recursive,  resulting  in  aclassification  of  this procedure.The  results  of  this  research  enabled  a  bigger  understanding  of the   complexity   of   aesthetic   experience,   showing   how   the   meaning attribution    occurs    through    recursive    loopings.    This    concretization reverberates   in   aesthetics object   formulation   and,   therefore,   in   the emancipation of the reader’s.
