Abstract

ANA ROSSETTI (pseudonym of Ana Bueno de la Peña), was born in 1950 in Cádiz, Spain.  The author of over 30 books, she is celebrated principally for her distinctive poetic voice, which emerged in the period of excess and cultural experimentation that followed the end of the Franco dictatorship.  Her most important works include Los devaneos de Erato (1980), Dióscuros (1982), Indicios vehementes (1985), Devocionario (1985), and Punto umbrío (1995).  In addition to poetry, Rossetti has authored novels, stories, and children’s books, and has won several literary prizes, including the Sonrisa Vertical Prize for erotic literature.
