The purpose of this study is to bring archaeologists closer to the resources that logistics strategies can offer in the improvement and quality of fieldwork, and based on this, to propose a concept of logistical use for archaeological science called “terrestrial archaeological logistics”. In addition, an opinion poll was carried out with archaeologists from the Brazilian Northeast Region in order to highlight the importance of logistics in archaeological work. Although the work is directed to the Northeast region of Brazil, the logistics and its resources that will be presented can be applied and adapted to other contexts of environments or archaeological sites in different regions of the country.
