PATHOLOGICAL PROBLEMAS AT THE MISERICÓRDIA CHURCH IN OLINDA - PERNAMBUCO

The paper discusses the state of conservation of the Misericórdia Church, one of historicals monuments
of Olinda – PE, that dates to the 17th century. Through surveys and visual inspections of the main
facade, degradation mechanisms and pathological problems were identified. Finally, it presents the
damage map and points out that this document enables the creation of corrective and preventive
maintenance strategies, contributing to the preservation of the building.
