Sensemaking: uma revisão sistemática e uma agenda de pesquisa

Objetivo: O artigo analisa contradições e pontos de contato entre o conceito de sensemaking organizacional weickiano e sensemaking crítico (CSM).
Método/abordagem: A pesquisa foi realizada utilizando o método de revisão sistemática de artigos sobre sensemaking. A partir de um protocolo de pesquisa, os artigos foram coletados nas bases Scopus, Web of Science e Spell.
Contribuições teóricas/práticas/sociais: O artigo contribui com um panorama epistemológico e temático sobre o sensemaking, e também com uma agenda de pesquisa sobre o tema que destaca a construção de sentido como uma experiência subjetiva, que contempla a linguagem, a história, as relações de poder e as identidades. O sensemaking, para além da interpretação, é performativo. Um processo cotidiano, individual e coletivo, para lidar com incerteza, ambiguidade e situações disruptivas: crises, desastres, pandemias.
Originalidade/relevância: O papel dos gestores, a concepção das organizações e temas da administração para pesquisas futuras são apresentados a partir de um contraponto dos aspectos ontológicos, epistemológicos e metodológicos entre o sensemaking weickiano e o CSM.
