Guidelines for Author

Articles must be submitted online through the JPM website (JPM does NOT accept submissions via email).

- Submitted articles must be unpublished and must not be in the process of being evaluated by another scientific journal.

- Articles published in Conference Proceedings may be submitted for evaluation (this publication is not considered a breach of originality).

- A maximum of five authors are allowed per article.

- Texts may be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, with preference given to the latter, which favors greater reach of researchers internationally.

- The article must contain 3 to 5 non-repeatable keywords. They must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, following the template appropriate to the main language of the text.

- The article title must contain a maximum of 20 words and must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, following the template appropriate to the main language of the text.

- The abstract should be between 100 and 250 words and must be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, following the template appropriate to the main language of the text.

- The file must be in Microsoft Word (doc.x) format.

- The explanatory notes, if they are extremely necessary to understand the ideas, should be used at the end of the text.

- The article must have a maximum of 20 pages (Times New Roman, single line spacing and spacing after each paragraph 6 pt).

- During submission, ALL metadata (in the submission system) must be completed in English, Portuguese, and Spanish.

- Authors must submit as a single supplementary file: the authors' information, Declaration of conflict of interest, Declaration of funding sources, Declaration use of AI, Declaration of data availability, and Declaration of copyright transfer (template here).

- The citations and references must comply with the standards of the APA - American Psychological Association.

- Providing the ORCID registrar of all authors is mandatory. Authors can register at: https://orcid.org/register

- To ensure a double-blind peer review process, the main manuscript must be submitted anonymously, with all author identifiers removed from the text and file properties.

- Each author may publish only one (01) article per year, regardless of how many they have submitted. If they have more approved articles, they will be selected in chronological order of submission.

TEMPLATES

Note: Authors may submit their initial manuscripts in any scientific article format, provided that they include, at a minimum, the basic structure of an academic paper, namely: title, abstract, keywords, introduction, literature review, methodology, results, discussion, conclusions, and references. However, final acceptance is strictly conditional upon reformatting the article according to the official JPM template prior to publication.

IMPORTANT: To support the development of Brazilian scientific journals, authors are strongly encouraged to include citations of relevant research published in JPM and other Brazilian journals within their field. This practice strengthens the national academic community and highlights the relevance of local scholarship alongside international references.

It is recommended to read the ANPAD
 Good Practices Manual.
