Guidelines for Author
Articles must be submitted online through the JPM website (JPM does NOT accept submissions via email).
- Submitted articles must be unpublished and must not be in the process of being evaluated by another scientific journal.
- Articles published in Conference Proceedings may be submitted for evaluation (this publication is not considered a breach of originality).
- Texts can be written in Portuguese, Spanish, or English, with a preference for the latter language, which favors a greater reach of researchers at an international level.
- A maximum of five authors per article are allowed.
- The title of the article must contain a maximum of 20 words.
- The abstract much between 100 and 250 words.
- The file must be in Microsoft Word format.
- The explanatory notes, if they are extremely necessary to understand the ideas, should be used at the end of the text.
- The article must have a minimum of 15 pages and a maximum of 25 pages.
- Authors must submit as a single supplementary file: the authors' information, Declaration of conflict of interest, Declaration of funding sources, Declaration use of AI, Declaration of data availability, and Declaration of copyright transfer (template here).
- The citations and references must comply with the standards of the APA - American Psychological Association.
- Providing the ORCID registrar of all authors is mandatory. Authors can register at: https://orcid.org/register
- All metadata must be filled in during submission in English and Portuguese. For papers in Spanish, metadata must be filled also in Spanish.
- NO identification of authors is allowed in the main text file, for this purpose there is a supplementary file and Metadata.

Note: JPM reserves the right not to accept submissions or revisions that do not meet the templates.
IMPORTANT – As a way to contribute to the development of Brazilian journals, authors are encouraged to cite in their articles, in addition to international articles, research published in Brazilian journals relevant to their topic.
It is recommended to read the ANPAD Good Practices Manual.
